Japanese Visa

Below are the general requirements for short-term tourist visas (stay up to 90 days) to Japan, categorized by nationality. Please note that conditions may vary depending on each applicant’s individual circumstances. Always confirm with the local Japanese Embassy or Consulate.

■ Iranian Nationals

  • Visa required.
  • Documents: Passport, visa application form, photo, flight itinerary, hotel reservation, financial proof, employment certificate, and invitation letter (if any).
  • Submit to: Japanese Embassy in Tehran or designated travel agency.

■ Bahraini Nationals

  • Visa required.
  • Bahrain is eligible for Japan’s online eVISA system for tourism (single entry, up to 90 days).
  • Apply via: Japan eVISA portal.
  • Documents: Valid passport, face photo, itinerary, hotel booking, and financial proof.

■ Turkish Nationals

  • Visa exemption for short-term stay (up to 90 days within 180-day period).
  • No visa required for tourism or business visits.
  • Must hold a valid Turkish passport with at least 6 months’ validity.

■ Arab Nationals (GCC countries: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait)

  • UAE and Saudi Arabia: Eligible for visa waiver with online registration.
  • Others: Require visa via eVISA or embassy submission.
  • GCC nationals can apply online at: Japan eVISA website.

■ Lebanese Nationals

  • Visa required.
  • Application through Japanese Embassy in Beirut.
  • Documents: Passport, visa form, itinerary, hotel reservation, bank statement, sponsor or invitation letter (if available).
