Visa Information for Japanese Nationals
Japanese passport holders are required to obtain an e-VISA in advance before entering Azerbaijan.
You can apply for the Azerbaijani e-VISA through the official site: evisa.gov.az.
The tourist visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance, with a maximum stay of 30 days within that period.
Climate, Clothing & Best Season
- Spring (Apr–Jun): Warm weather and blooming flowers. A light jacket and long sleeves are recommended.
- Summer (Jul–Sep): Hot and dry in Baku, cooler in the mountains. Sun hats and UV protection are a must.
- Autumn (Oct–Nov): Ideal for sightseeing. Mornings and evenings can be chilly—bring layers.
- Winter (Dec–Mar): Inland regions may see snow. Warm coats and winter wear are necessary.
Best Season: April–June and September–October are the most pleasant for travel.
