Visa Information for Japanese Citizens
As of November 2024, Japanese passport holders are exempt from visas for tourist stays of up to 15 days, twice a year (once per six months). For other purposes, a visa is required.

Climate, Clothing & Best Season
- Spring (Mar–May):Pleasant temperatures nationwide. Blooming flowers make it perfect for travel. Long sleeves and light jackets recommended.
- Summer (Jun–Sep):Hot and dry inland. Light clothing with sun protection is a must.
- Autumn (Oct–Nov):Mild weather similar to spring. Comfortable for sightseeing.
- Winter (Dec–Feb):Cold in northern and mountainous areas with possible snow. Winter clothing required.
Best Travel Seasons:March to May and October to November are the most pleasant.
